James B. Moses, DDS, graduated from the University of Denver in 1960 with a Bachelor of Science degree. In 1964, he graduated from the University of Missouri, School of Dentistry. After graduation, he served two years in the United States Navy.
Dr. Moses has practiced dentistry for 43 years, maintaining his expertise in the field of dentistry by continuing his education over the years. From 1980 to 1982, Dr. Moses took a postgraduate course in Endodontics for practicing dentists at Boston University. In 2004, he took an extended course in Cosmetic Dentistry and Bleaching at Santa Maria, California. Dr. Moses has enjoyed having his wife, Elaine, manage his office for 20 years. Recently he happily joined The Cody Dental Group.
Dr. Moses is a member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, and the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society. He is the past president of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity and the past president of the Jewish Family Service.
In 1992, Dr. Moses received the Minoru Yasui Community Volunteer Award for his 13-year contribution and commitment for volunteering dental services in the Denver area. He was asked to join the committee and is now the immediate past chairman. Dr. Moses also volunteers for the Colorado Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped and the Charge Resource for the Mentally Disadvantaged.
Dr. Moses is a third-generation native of Denver. He enjoys many outdoor activities in Colorado and Florida with his wife and their dog, Max. He is blessed to have his two children, son-in-law, and grandson living in Denver.
